You remember the recent MTN #MakeTheMusic competition yeah? Okay maybe what I'll say what I want to about it, that could get you believe that she could be the #NBT on Team237's Chart...she was 3rd of all the competitors and its her track - ''Wettin I Do'' that got her on this position.

Natty at 25 is currently working on the biggest project ever in her career. Sponsored by the MTN Make The Music Campaign, Natty is working on her video clip ''shot by a dope American video director - Mr Chas'' says Smarty, her PR. She's working with two other producers from the US - Emile Ngumbah and Mbela.

Talking about her PR - hez Smarty and yeah am proud hez a personal friend lol. You must know him or have heard of him cuz this guy is just so active on scene237. He believes in Natty like never in any other and I see the zeal in him. Natty should be proud of him - am sure. I love that dude...

SME'S ARTIST, DAPHNE BACK ON RELEASE WITH HER EP

You all know her by now I suppose. She's on every national radio and TV, even some international. She did "Rastafarai", her very first single. She's an SME Artist. You can guess now yeah? Well If you can't, she's Daphne.

Daphne is one of Cameroon's most outstanding uprising urban artists. Coming into the show in 2014, she signed with SME and has already released a hit single tittled "Rastapharai".

The ''Next Big Thing'' as Steven's puts it, Daphne is now on her EP that will be released just soon. The EP contains three tracks and is to be released just soon - on November 17th at 4 PM. I just can't wait guys. Fingers' crossed...

The concert will take place in Komo, Gabon this Saturday at the Hotel Belinga as from 6 pm. It features other artists as Syndrick London, LZ, Ass de Coeur, Jylysse-J and DS Crew.

MOLY237 SHOW - CAMEROON'S TOP ENTERTAINMENT SHOW

Cameroon's entertainment industry has been on the increase recently with numerous artists coming in from place to place. The internet has been of much help with social sites such as Facebook and Twitter where artists could share and do a self promo of their tracks. Also, sites such al Soundcloud, Reverbnation and itunes help artists to display much of their audio work and youtube for the greater part of the videos for those who have one. Others even organise peformances and concerts in a bit to reach out to the public. However, all this has not really worked out an impact in the fans. Fans need some time with the artists, to watch them live and even get to meet them in person. It has not been very easy getting such a situation for real. This is the reason the Moly237 show is here.

The Moly237 show is a Cameroonian entertainment Show to expose all what Cameroon Urban Music has got to offer. Its a show that showcases Cameroon's great, uprising and undiscovered music talents. Artist are given a place to perform on stage as well as relate mutually with all their fans who could make it to be there live. It also blends in breaks of dance, fashion, star gists, and comedy.

The first edition of this show starts on October 3rd at the Footprint Motel in Buea and stars artists such as Askia, Arre, Crispy, alongside producers like Edi Le'drae and Dijay Karl. Also featuring will be one of Cameroon's hottest dance crews ever, the 2.1.C Dance Crew. CAMEROONIAN UPRISING FEMALE ARTIST ZEMIE FEATURES IN FUSE ODG'S "BLACK COMMANDO"

My BB indicated that I had a whatsapp message and when I checked it, it was from my cutie friend Stefani. I went like: ''Check out Fuse ODG's 'Black Commando' featuring Zemie''. Am like wow!!! My Zemie is back on the mic and this time with Ghana's Fuse ODG!? I couldn't wait...

I clicked the link to listen and its just so great...she never plays down her voice and keeps you in a still when you get it scream in high pitch! Fuse ODG blends it in his own way. Am loving this track like crazy.

When I talked to her about the track this is what she told me:

Nothing much; just that its my version of Fuse's Black Commando. Launched in concurrence with the Made Of Black campaign.

GASHA FINALLY RELEASES HER MUCH ANTICIPATED VIDEO - "THE DATE"

About 10 days back I told you guys that Gasha was to release her new video clip tittled ''The Date'' featuring Zegeman. Finally its here.

The video was released just about an hour ago as promised by the artist - to be released on the 19th of September.

Its some kind of ''Old School'' style and it gets me back on the memories of Gasha's initial and amateur music tracks especially that one tittled ''That Boy''. This time its no more that tinted short haired girl you'll see in the video - its an ironically ''Afro Style'' girl lol. Am loving this.

This is the image I found this morning on Jovi LeMonstre's Facebook Wall! Sorry I am 20 hours late since this became Jovi LeMonstre's new profile picture but I wish I could get it earlier than now.

Its evident in the photo. If I do its ''Picture or Descriptive Essay'' (which I learnt at Secondaries), I would say the picture announces the official broadcast of the CA$H video by Jovi of New Bell Music on BoomTV - Cameroon's Number One Music Cahnnel. on 08-09-14.

This is long awaited! Two days ago I was with my hommie, Smarty, and we talked about our anticipation for this clip! Man this na the eye....Jovi just too much! we know what we expect from Jovi always. he got Cameroon on the lamp light and he still keeps it going. Thanks Jovi.

NEW MUSIC ALERT: "DIS MOI QUELQUE CHOSE" BY KING KURTIS FT LONGE KATIE

When I listen to this track, I feel the complement of Cameroonian music. Yes, the bilingual nature of Cameroon is complemented here in the French language. Its a King Kurtis Entertainment Poduction.


"Dis Moi Quelque Chose" is a French style Cameroonian track that brings you a blend of Rap and R&B all in one track. Its a duo with Cameroonian artists King Kurtis and Longe katie. this girls is just so amazing - Longe katie! Her voice maaaan! its superb. You just wonna be her fan as soon as you get her mix in that beat. King kurtis did it as usual; his soft french rap on the beat just flows like inseparable and irreplaceable.

The track which was has been on soundcloud for about 20 days now and has got over 500 plays already, despite the very low publicity for the audio (as the producers and promoters await the video clip).

The video is much anticipated as it is directed by one of cameroon's top videographers and directors. The said video is awaited just very soon, before the month of August runs out.

Lets show some love to another team237 actor on board. Kuddos to you King Kurtis and Longe Katie!!!

AWARDS ALERT: AFRIMMA 2014 - WHAT CAMEROON TAKES HOME

The African Music Magazine Awards is a diaspora based Award ceremony fo all African music grnres ranging from Afrobeats, Assiko, Bongo, Decale, Funana, Genge, Highlife, Hiplife, Kwaito, Lingala and Soukous.

It held its first of its kind on the 26th of July, 2014 and brought out lots of shouts to the African music makers and lovers. Represented were African music makers from accross the continent and yeah our own country Cameroon!

Representing team237 were Stanley Enow, Gasha, Sine, Lady Ponce, Les Nubians and the D3 Dancers (partly).

Stanley Enow as we all know is that "New Sun Rising" which we got on team237's chart. Also known as ''Bayangi Boy'', the Cameroonian rapper is famous for his blend of that Enlish-French-Pidgin languages in what we call in Cameroon, ''Franc-Anglais''. Stanley is a multiple award winning artist, with his most recent and biggest award (before the AFRIMMA) being the MTV Africa Music Awards thet took place in Durban, South Africa where he got the ''Best New Act''. Stanley has no album yet but his singles as ''Hein Pere" and ''Tumbu Boss'' have made waves! Stanley was ''Best New Comer" of AFRIMMA.


Gasha is just amazing. I remember some time ago (about a year or two) I blogged about her when she had not yet gotten on the professional field and I saw that star in her. Yes she is proving it. Gasha's debut single ''Kakhi Mbere'' just thrilled many and captivated their souls into loving her much. ''This Life'' was never so different from as it portrayed that zeal Gasha has for music and the passion she shares about life. She sings afro R&B and it's all about love, peace and humanity. AFRIMMA came as a big one and great news to Gasha and Cameroon music lovers as a whole. Its the first of her kind. Gasha was nominated for ''Best Female Central Africa'' of AFRIMMA.

Sine makes Cameroon proud always. He is one of those Cameroonian Urban Music artists that put Cameroon on the African Chart. This guy is so talented especially as e does a multiple genre of music. He has collaborations with Cameroon's big name, Petit Pays and Ivorian-Cameroonian artist, Meiway. I love his voice. Yes. if you ask me one Cameroonian male artist who can do the very high pitched voice, I'll say Sine! Sine works with Touch Sound Music. He was nominee for ''Best Male Central Africa" of AFRIMMA.


Les Nubians is an R&B group consisting of two sisters, Hélène and Célia. Based in France, the group is a Grammy awards nominee and has three musical albums - Princesses Nubiennes in 1998, Nü Revolution in 2011 and One Step Forward in 2003. They were the ''Best Female Diaspora" of AFRIMMA.

Lady Ponce! She is a mother and has inspired many female Cameroonian artists. She has portrayed the Cameroonian culture across the globe. Lady Ponce does bikutsi, the rhythm of the Beti prople, a clan in the Centre and South regions of Cameroon. She has great dance moves and sings with such passion that you feel right in the melody. Lady Ponce did her latest track with Koffi Olomide, a big name on Africa. She was nominee of AFRIMMA.

The D3 dancers is a dance crew based in the UK. The group showcases in concerts, musical clips, shows and events in Belgium, France, UK and Africa. They are good at multiple genres and rythms. Managed by Derry Entertainment, the group consists of three girls, BD, Dre and Nat from Cameroon and Congo.

With all these people et AFRIMMA, I take it that team237 was heavily represented. We got six flag holders and three tropy bearers. Stanley Enow got the ''Best New Comer'', Gasha got the ''Best Female Central Africa'' and Les Nubians got the ''Best Female Diaspora". Kudos to you all!
